Ist Deutschland ein Einwanderungsland?

would emigrate Would all the people of this earth, all Indians, all Chinese, all Europeans, Africans, Latin Americans, and so tomorrow in the United States, then it will close in America.

live in the States today on an area of \u200b\u200b10,000,000 square kilometers about 300 million people - about 30 inhabitants per km ².

would share the same land 6.6 billion people, the U.S. had ² a population density of 660 inhabitants per km. So that they would back Taiwan (709 EW / km ²) and in Barbados (652 EW / km ²) just at the 9th Square land most densely populated countries .

Few American voters and politicians would be thrilled, the evil spell of the "full boat" would probably make the rounds. Is it conceivable that in this situation would more immigration (from wherever) required? No? Why not?

have the "classical" immigration country or had a problem: too few people to be able to use the possibilities of their land optimally. The Mark Brandenburg sought settlers on the Rhine and in Holland around the country to breathe a little life, the Prussian kings courted the Huguenots and the Salzburg Protestants Logo den Folgen von Krieg, Seuchen und der allgemeinen Rückständigkeit fertig zu werden.

Either for a short time, certain population groups are recruited and then closed the borders again (Brandenburg, the Ruhr area) or were tough conditions imposed on the immigrants (USA, Canada, Australia). In any case, it was already at low population densities to a stop and a limit on immigration. While the United States ² with 31 inhabitants / km are still quite densely populated, living in Canada and Australia, only 3.3 people per km ² 2.6.

These countries are still considered as countries of immigration, immigration to handle but very restrictive. Where are youth, skill, mastery of the language, wants to stay permanently or at least ordinary assets.

Comparing the traditional immigration countries with European countries, which now also insist on "immigration country" call, the big difference is the population density on

Netherlands: 489 inhabitants / km ²
Belgium: 343 inhabitants / km ²
United Kingdom 249 inhabitants / km ²
Germany: 231 inhabitants / km ²

this already very densely populated States, immigrants from countries with low population density look. Turkey has 92 inhabitants / km ², Morocco: 73 inhabitants / km ², ² Algeria 13.8 inhabitants / km; the "overcrowded" Pakistan has just 190 EW / km ². These average figures may of course not be an absolute standard, countries have to pass the 90% of desert nature, has a low population density when considering the whole country, because people are concentrated in the few habitable regions.

But from the perceived over-population of Africa and Asia can derive no right to emigrate just to Western Europe. will be brandishing the demographic disaster, the cause of the "aging" of European societies, in theory, like solved by the importation of immigrants from countries with a youth bulge (youth bulge). Allegedly a Win-Win Solution: Europe gets young immigrants to draw out the pensions of low birth-generation, Africa and Central Asia are their dead-end youth going on to immigrant youth find a "reasonable" position in society and be happy and peaceful adults. That was the theory ...

But: The "Youth Bulge " can not break down in Europe. Who in Africa there is no appropriate position in society, the rise in Europe, only rarely and when to provide it without much luck. This is not for the immigrants, I doubt not that make many of them are full of optimism and a willingness on the way to Europe. And bitterly disappointed werden. Was bleibt?

Und die Nebenjobs often serve only to earning money and are not (as it was twenty years available) paid internships. Trainees in Germany have not been often a university degree and work for free (or for a "certificate" and the prospect of anyone at some point to know who knows perhaps someone who can be conveyed by a paid entry-level position.) A "paid internship" is already almost an oxymoron ...

Germany can not simply "immigration country". The country is populated too tight, that is, the final frontier that could be reclaimed by immigrants, are not available. Immigrants can not open up new habitats, but have integrate into the existing space. And it often lacks the prerequisites: education, language skills, cultural compatibility. A "classical" immigration country may see such criteria rather loose, confident that the job market sucks greedily immigrants and "integration" is practically a sure-fire.

a country where already have the highly skilled (education) national major problems must invest in its other immigrants standards.

The country with the highest population density is the way Monaco. There live 16.866 inhabitants per km ² (32,000 people to 1.98 km ²). Of these, 16% Monegasque, 47% French, 16% Italians, the rest is distributed to over 100 different nationalities.
