It is in our democracy, but no matter what religion the son of an ex-Chancellor is a member, just as it does not matter which Regligion the Chancellor, the President or anyone else practicing (or not done).
In practice one is not quite so indifferent, as will be ensured as early as to who makes the oath of office on the Bible who does not. Nor should Catholics and Protestants have equal representation in Parliament.
